Children's Miracle Network
Children's Miracle Network and RE/MAX are joined by their desire to provide local community hospitals with modern tools and information. Since RE/MAX became the exclusive real estate sponsor of Children's Miracle Network in 1992, RE/MAX Associates have raised nearly $75 million for the cause.
Founded in 1983, Children's Miracle Network generates health care funds and awareness programs to benefit children. The nonprofit organization's 170 participating hospitals across North America help 17 million children annually. RE/MAX Associates raise funds for Children's Miracle Network in a variety of ways, including:
- Pledging a contribution derived from each transaction involving a RE/MAX Miracle Home®.
- Staging fundraising events - from local golf tournaments to parking-lot flea markets.
Handling the phones at the organization's annual telethon fundraising event, the largest of its kind in the world
RE/MAX Sales Associates are unique in that a majority of the donations received by Children's Miracle Network from RE/MAX are the direct result of Associates' hard work rather than solicited from customers.
Miracle Home®
The Miracle Home® Program, exclusive to RE/MAX International, allows a RE/MAX Associate to donate a portion of every transaction to Children's Miracle Network. The partnership underscores Sales Associates’ involvement in the communities where they live and serve.

RE/MAX Racing for Life®
With its "RE/MAX Racing for Life®" slogan, RE/MAX International is proud to be a co-sponsor of the National Series Breast Cancer Survivor Recognition Program at Komen Race for the Cure events, the world's largest series of 5K runs and fitness walks. Komen estimates that more than 1 million people participated in its 2007 races.
The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Survivor Recognition Program celebrates breast cancer survivors and honors those who have lost their battles with the disease. RE/MAX shares sponsorship with Zeta Tau Alpha Fraternity, a nonprofit volunteer organization.
RE/MAX contributes pink survivor T-shirts and caps, as well as "In celebration of" and "In memory of" back signs and program banners for every race. RE/MAX Associates who are breast cancer survivors or who otherwise have been affected by the disease are encouraged to solicit pledges for their own participation. Corporate representatives host breast cancer survivor recognition tents at the more than 100 events in the United States.
Sold for the CureTM
RE/MAX launched a unique program early in 2007 exclusive to RE/MAX Sales Associates that allows agents to designate homes as Sold for the Cure properties in support of Komen for the Cure. The pink "RE/MAX in support of Komen for the Cure" banner that sits atop a RE/MAX yard sign means that Komen will receive a donation from the RE/MAX agent when that property sells.
RE/MAX is committed to supporting Komen for the Cure's promise to save lives and end breast cancer forever.

The RE/MAX Balloon Team was in Franklin recently to present the Challenge The Wind Program. This program is presented at middle schools where students learn the History and Physics of Ballooning. The RE/MAX balloon was a great hit with the Principal, Teachers and all the Students! In the Spring we will be scheduling this event at other middle schools. Watch for us in your area!
